Easter Memories 2008
This was Dennis' first Easter with our family and oh, was it a cold one! The morning started with giant snowflakes that looked like falling cotton candy, so the egg hunt happened inside. The kids enjoyed some time exploring their baskets before we headed to church for Easter service. Dennis decided he liked his jelly beans.... a lot.....and I suddenly remembered Michael at the same age! It was going to be interesting to allow the older kids access to their baskets, without letting the baby overdue the sugar.
After church we spent a relaxing day at my moms. The kids played with their cousins for hours, buzzing from too much candy. The adults hung out playing cards and enjoying the moments of peace when they came. It was wonderful to have our newest additions, Dennis and Ashenafi, in our arms after waiting so long for their arrival.
